As the world’s biggest erectile dysfunction drug, Viagra has become synonymous with its performance. But it wasn’t until this past weekend that the U. S. Food and Drug Administration approved a new treatment for the condition.
The treatment, called. is the most powerful and selective, meaning it only works when there’s sexual stimulation.
With the drug, you can achieve and keep an erection as long as you’re in the bedroom.
It’s not only effective against erectile dysfunction, but also helps you avoid premature ejaculation.
But you may have to be sexually aroused before this medication can be given to you.
“There’s a lot of misinformation out there,” says Dr. Nies, a urology specialist at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.
“It’s just not going to work,” she adds, “and that’s where it becomes a game-changer.”
Viagra is a PDE5 inhibitor, meaning it allows you to keep an erection when you are sexually aroused. But the drug doesn’t work to the same degree as other drugs, says Dr. Nies, who says that it may not work the same way for everyone.
A new study published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine found that men who took the drug had an increased risk of a variety of sexual dysfunction problems, including impotence and erectile dysfunction, and that erectile dysfunction could be a result of the medication itself.
Those who took the drug also had a significantly lower incidence of sexual dysfunction, according to the study.
But the medication hasn’t been approved by the FDA, and it is being used to treat erectile dysfunction.
“We have to do a lot of research to come to a conclusion about whether the medication can do the same for you,” says Dr. Nies, who notes that the drug could potentially be used to treat the condition.
Viagra isn’t the only drug to have been on the market. As we’ve already noted, it is a combination of two drugs, and it’s one of the most potent erectile dysfunction drugs.
The two drugs, tadalafil and sildenafil, have also been studied. Sildenafil was first approved in 1998 and is the first of its kind to be taken by men in the U.
Viagra is available in both white and black tablets. It is available in the form of a pill, so it can be taken with or without food, says Dr. Nies.
“It was very important that people who are going to take it have a conversation with their doctor about what they’re going to be taking,” she says. “So that’s one of the things that they can’t do.”
The FDA has a couple of safety concerns with Viagra, says Dr. Nies, who says that the drug can cause dangerously low blood pressure.
“It’s something that you want to keep in mind,” she says. “If it doesn’t work for you, you need to try another drug.”
Dr. Nies says that taking Viagra before you take your pills could lead to serious problems in the future. She says it’s important to have sex, as it could be dangerous for you if you take it with alcohol or other drugs.
She also points out that you need to take the medication only when you want to have sex. This may make you feel more confident in sexual positions, such as getting and keeping an erection.
